Realmont


A 10 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé, Realmont is a historic village with a market square made up of arched walkways at its centre. Artisans & farmers assemble here weekly to sell their products. Market day has been every Wednesday since 1272 8am - 1pm all year round.

Albi


Albi has been classified as a World Heritage Site since 2010, joining UNESCO’s list of 802 unique cultural sites. A 30 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé and you'll arrive in historic centre, full of restaurants, artisan shops & museums. The Toulouse-Lautrec museum (located in the Berbie Palace) displays an incredible collection of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec works. The Sainte-Cécile cathedral is also a must see.

Gaillac


The reputation of Gaillac wines is well established. A 20 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé, you can walk the vineyards, meet the winegrowers, taste the wines. Gaillac also boasts many monuments such as The Abbaye St-Michel & The Château-Musée des Beaux Arts de Foucaud.

Castres


The quays of Castres are lined with colourful houses and - the city’s emblem. In the 17th century, these houses were the homes of weavers, dyers, tanners and parchment makers who worked with wool, leather and paper. The water boats provide a nice trip on the river along the houses, day and night.Goya and Velazquez were both inspired by the town. A 30 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé.

Lautrec


Lautrec is a medieval city previously named ‘Most Beautiful Village in France’. Lautrec also owes its fame to the garlic it produces. A 20 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé, you can park at the walls of the village and walk up to the summit via the small cobbled streets to discover an amazing view.

Ochre rooftops and brick churches earned Toulouse the nickname ‘La Ville Rose’ (The Pink City). Its Vieux Quartier is a dreamy jumble of shopfronts. Toulousians know how to have a good time and invite you to do the same, in the food markets, bars/restaurants, it's thriving music scene. A 45 minute drive from Le Jardin du Curé and you in the centre of France's 4th biggest city.
